About
Documenting human lives from the city of Bengaluru.

To the world, Bangalore may just be an ordinary city in southern India. But to those who live here, it is so much more. It’s the heart of amazing culture, delicious food, the best weather and most importantly, incredible people with remarkable stories. And so, in 2016, Vikas Badiger set out on a passion project to document everything that made the city feel so magical and with that Faces of Bengaluru was born.
Starting off as a photo series that told stories of the people of Bangalore, the FoB mission grew to be what it is today – a media channel dedicated to making empathetic videos to help bust myths, eradicate stereotypes and forge a better understanding of one another. Since our founding, FoB’s success has been covered by various prestigious media outlets such as The Indian Express and Deccan Herald. We have also collaborated with Teach for India, Mankutimma Studios (Merch), Wild Karnataka documentary team and Akshaya Patra Foundation.
Now, with over 200 stories told and a documentary in the making, FoB hopes to continue its vision of valuable storytelling through different means as we become bigger and better. Ultimately, we believe in creating content that makes this world a better place in the long run. We sure have a good laugh looking at a meme, but stories and the lessons they teach, last a lifetime. We at FoB hope to share stories to impact yours.
